Here is a great video on summer in Utah!!

Everyone knows that Utah is the place to be in winter. But, what about Utah’s “other” season. Utah’s mountains are an amazing retreat in the summer as well with more hiking, biking, alpine sliding, mountain coasters, and so much more. Your whole family can have an amazing time this summer in Utah.

Apres Mountain Biking in Park City

Aprés Mountain Biking?  Yeah there is such a thing and I’ll tell you where it’s happening.  You know that feeling you get when you’re done with a 20 + mile ride in the middle of July?  That feeling like you could literally eat a cow, well if your ride takes you towards Deer Valley be sure to check out the Deer Valley Grocery located below the main parking lots at Snow Park.  Here you can relax on the outdoor deck, drink awesome local beers and have burgers made to order.  It’s kind of like a little backyard BBQ.  Be sure the staff brings over their condiment boat.  Crazy and exotic mustards and sauces are all there to accompany your custom designed burger.  I created a Turkey Burger with, bacon, guacamole, swiss cheese accompanied by some sort of fig mustard.

Deer Valley Resort Opens for the Summer.

Deer Valley lists and restaurants open for the season this weekend!!  Come out and ride!!

Burger Special &

Featured Whiskey!

This year we are changing up our specials a bit.  Each week we will pair a different whiskey from around the world with a gourmet burger that compliments the spirit’s distinctive flavor.  What’s even better is that the cost of the burger and featured whiskey together will always be $18.  What better way to kick off the new Whiskey Wednesday season than with our very own burger and Rendezvous Rye!

        High West Burger

House Blended Organic Niman Ranch Farms Beef, Rolling Hills Ranch Bison & Proprietary Secret Flavoring – Caramelized Whiskey Onions – Gruyere & Blue Cheese Topped with Fried Shallots – House Made Caraway Brioche Roll – House Pickled Bread & Butter Cucumbers

Suggested Pairing: High West Rendezvous Rye

Marriage of a straight 6 year old and a straight 16 year old.  Almost every other straight rye whiskey you can buy today is barely legal, with 51-53% rye in the mashbill.  Not Rendezvous.  It honors the way rye whiskey used to be made, with a high rye content and full, uncompromised flavor.

1.5oz Pour – $8.-

It’s within walking distance of Main Street and the Park City Mountain Resort lifts, and guests have use of the free shuttle to both Deer Valley and Canyons Resort. Book a stay at the Old Town Guest House during the month of February and get your room for the special rate of $169 per night. This special isn’t advertised, but use the code “$169 special” in the notes when you book online or call 435-649-2642.
