World Cup freestyle coming to Park City
As Sundance comes to a close there’s a new crowd coming into Park City. Thursday through Saturday the Visa Freestyle World Cup will be hosted at Deer Valley Resort and Park City Mountain Resort, with three days of high-flying, and awe-inspiring tricks on the snow, a free concert, fireworks and lots of other fun stuff. And all the events are free!
The U.S. Ski Team VP of communications Tom Kelly says the annual Park City extravaganza is one of the biggest ski events in the U.S. It’s fan-friendly and the athletes love it too. The World Cup gets bigger and better every year. This year they’ve added a skiing halfpipe at PCMR! We’ll also have the usual competitions including aerials, moguls and dual moguls!
Michael Franti and Spearhead will be playing a show the first night on Main Street and there promises to be amazing races and dazzling tricks so come check it out!
